D-panthenol
D-panthenol is also known as provitamin B5.
It is an indispensable active ingredient in hair care for dry to very dry hair. It provides all the moisture that strands need. Its action helps retain water in the hair fibres.
Provitamin B5 is a cosmetic active ingredient with the following properties:
- Moisturising (fights against hair dehydration) ;
- Emollient (retains water in the fibre) ;
