Azelaic acid
Azelaic acid is a powerful active anti acne. It is also effective against couperose and rosacea.
This ingredient, recommended by dermatologists, is both :
- Antibacterial ;
- Keratoregulator ;
- Anti-inflammatory ;
- Antioxidant.
It is an important ally against dermatological diseases. It is found naturally in plants, in wheat, rye and barley.
Its antibacterial power acts on the overgrowth of Cutibacterium Acnes, a bacteria responsible for acne. It is found in the hair follicle and in the sebaceous glands.
If excess sebum accumulates under the skin and forms blackheads, azelaic acid can open the pores to treat the blackhead or whitehead without leaving an acne scar.
